Janey & Chad’s Oakura Beach Wedding

When you envision a classic Kiwi wedding, there are a few things that come to mind…

A relaxed vibe.
A wheelbarrow / big ole chilly bin filled with pals.
A blue vibrant ocean.
Escaping the Brutal Summer sun underneath a shady Pohutukawa.
An unhinged party that stretches into the crisp hours of a starlit night.

Janey and Chads’ wedding was the ultimate, and then plus some, Kiwi Wedding…

Janey looked like the vision of a Bohemian summer Goddess in her 2 piece Rue De Seine wedding dress, her girls matching her in beautiful pearly white silk dresses. Chad and his lads were dressed in warm sand tones with a relaxed loose collar shirt to let the summer breeze flow through.

I dont know why it keeps happening but whenever I book a wedding in Taranaki, I always end up needing to be back in Auckland the very next day and end up ropping Daniel into driving me home through the night, while i upload cards in the passangers seat - but these two made the long drive home getting in at 3am so worth while and I wouldnt have wanted to miss this day for the world.

These two cuties were the absolute BEST vibes to hang out with and the sunset we were greeted with on the shorelines of Oakura were absolutely out of this world.
